Laying RoofKrete is mix of Plastering and Screeding Skills combined with a lot of general knowledge of roofing systems.

None of the Krete Systems are DIY applied, they all need to be installed by fully trained Approved Contractors who have attended the training course and fulfilled the criteria for attaining the position of an Approved Contractor for RoofKrete.

RoofKrete is a high quality and high performance product which requires skill and training to undertake, it demands an understanding of a number of general building techniques and is more akin to plastering and screed laying than other types of roofing system skills.

Approved Contractors come from (and will come from) a variety of backgrounds, ranging from screeders, plasterers, general high quality builders and existing roofing contracting companies wishing to be part of the Krete Systems team.

Training - Brief Overview

Training courses are usually undertaken at approved training centres such as the ‘National Construction College’ in the Midlands, although this location is central, depending upon the numbers being trained, local training can be undertaken.

As well as the training course all contractors have continuous interaction with Krete Contracting to ensure quality levels are adhered to and maintained.

Courses usually last for 4 days which includes time in the classroom and practical demonstration by our training manager, but the largest portion of this time is actually laying RoofKrete.

Dave and Jim have worked for RoofKrete for over 15 years and are vastly experienced in all areas related to the supply and fit of the RoofKrete Systems. Their skills are utilised in the training schedule for the Approved Contractors as there is no substitute for experience!
