Roof Refurbishment Application

RoofKrete Spray Applied Systems are the ultimate in Roof Refurbishment and excellent for large areas of new build, concrete decks, podium decks etc. The systems have excellent crack-bridging and excellent elongation and tensile strength properties. Both systems have a fast cure time and are not sensitive to moisture making it ideal for weather conditions in the UK. However proper surface primers must always be utilised.

The RoofKrete Spray Applied Systems are used over Concrete, Asphalt, Timber, Slates, Tiles, Corrugated and Metal Roofs. Both systems can be formulated with specific performance requirements. With spray applied applications the existing roof coverings do not normally need to be removed and a new seamless waterproof coating is formed over the old roof.

Asbestos Encapsulation

The RoofKrete Spray Applied Systems can also be used over Asbestos ti encapsulate and prevent the need for removal. The final Rubber Roof Membrane gives an extremely long lasting and robust waterproofing.

A full range of warranties between 10, 15 and 20 Years are available.

Free Survey and Application Method

The RoofKrete teams are fully trained and experienced with all of the different substrates that exist in the United Kingdom. The spraying team will carry out any final preperation. Each substrate may require a different primer.

Application:

1. The Roof Substrate must be free of oil and grease etc. and be sound. For a moist surface we would use a special damp primer and carry out a pull off test to check the adhesion which should normally be 0.75N/mm.

2. The spray application is extremely quick and the curing time can be between 1 second and 1 minute.
